Madonna launched her signature fragrance ‘Truth Or Dare’ by Madonna at Macy’s Herald Square in New York City last night.
The songstress appeared on Thursday wearing a sheer black Dolce & Gabana dress over a bodysuit. She finished the look with Walter Steiger peep-toe heels and jewellery from House of Lavande. Nothing shocking I have to admit as we’ve seen much more skin in the past but I suppose a covered up look would have disappointed. Still a killer bod, don’t you think?
An annoucement had been made in November last year the ‘Truth or Dare’ by Madonna global lifestyle brand would showcase footwear, handbags, intimates, accessories and a fragrance aimed at fans who are close to Madonna’s heart and age. Her Material Girl brand, managed and operated in collaboration with daughter Lourdes, is aimed more at the teen market so its was no surprise that Madge has now targeted the 27-50 age group.
After a few months of advertising reminiscent of the 80′s, the floral fragrance created with Coty, made it’s exclusive debut at Macy’s. It was reported that 300 fragrance kits had been pre-sold for $151 dollars a pop and included mini-bottles of the eau de parfum and body lotion, a t-shirt, a copy of Madonna’s new album, ‘MDNA‘ and the 1991 ‘Truth or Dare’ documentary on Blu-ray disc.
