Jean Paul Gaultier Unveils Designs for Diet Coke

Jean Paul Gaultier, Coca Cola brand creative director for the year, unveiled his limited edition Diet Coke designs named ‘Night‘ and  ‘Day‘ at an event in Paris on Thursday night.

The designer wearing his signature Breton stripes with British actress & former Bond-girl Gemma Arterton. Of course he designed her skirt and corset.

The bottles harbour all the design elements of Gaultier’s Classique and Le Male fragrances. The iconic feminine corsets in the ‘Night‘ design pays a tribute to Madonna’s gold cone bra worn during her Blonde Ambition-era; the ‘Day‘ design features his signature Breton stripes.

‘Tattoo’, the third design in the series inspired by the designer’s love of body art, will be released later this year.

Fashion fans around the world will have to head all the way over to a Harvey Nichols store in the UK to snap up these stylish beverages, available from Monday 16 April. While you’re there, look out for a chic collector’s set which includes a limited edition Diet Coke glass in the iconic Breton stripe design.

Jean Paul Gaultier, as CD of Coca Cola, follows in the footsteps of designers Karl Lagerfeld and Manolo Blahnik, and New York celebrity stylist, Patricia Field.

Have a great weekend, everyone:-) Happy days.

Love & light
