When a red carpet is rolled out, I literally glow. And the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards held at The Beverley Hills Hotel in Los Angeles had me beaming. Here are my 10 favourite looks from last night.

The trend appears to be fitted bodices with an array of nun-blushing necklines; from strapless corsets to halter-neck all exquisitely embellished. Colours were muted in jewel tones, wine and navy with black a strong contender. Hemlines took on a Disney fantasy from mermaid’s tail to fairy princess. And I am happy to announce that nude lace is still in but I wish we’d seen the end of Angelina Jolie’s prosthetic leg. Continue reading →

In my world, nautical stripes define Summer. Sun, sand, sea; you get the blue and white stripy picture, don’t you? This week my alarm clock’s slap of reality was accompanied by two unwelcome visitors; chilly air and darkness.
